Description

This is a triangular cast iron milepost, painted white, dating from 1892. It features a ramped top with the inscription 'County of Flint 1892' in raised black letters. On the two main faces, there are plates that read 'Chester 14m 0F' and 'Holywell 3m 2F' in raised letters. The name of the founder on the left face is illegible.
