Description

This is a cast iron milepost from the second half of the 19th century, featuring a triangular shape. The south face displays raised lettering that reads "Blaenau Ffestiniog," while the north face indicates "Harlech 14." There are no visible foundry marks on the milepost. It is listed for its historical significance as a well-preserved example of a 19th-century milepost located prominently by the roadside.
