Description

1-7 Uwchllaw'rffynnon Terrace is a mid 19th century terrace of seven cottages built for quarry workers. The cottages are two storeys high, constructed of rubble and topped with a slate roof. Each cottage features an entrance and a single window on both floors to the left. The doors and windows have been replaced with modern versions, and there is a modern porch that is out of character at No. 7. Each unit has a plain squat chimney. This terrace is listed for its historic interest as a surviving example of mid 19th century quarry worker housing.
