Description

4 Uwchllaw'rffynnon Terrace is part of a mid-19th century terrace consisting of seven cottages for quarry workers. The cottages are two storeys high, built of rubble and topped with a slate roof. Each cottage features an entrance and a single window on both floors to the left. The doors and windows have been replaced with modern versions, and there is a modern porch that does not match the character of the original design at No. 7. Each unit has a plain squat chimney. This terrace is listed for its historic interest as a surviving example of mid-19th century quarry worker's housing.
