Description

5 Uwchllaw'rffynnon Terrace is part of a mid 19th century terrace consisting of seven cottages for quarry workers. The cottages are two storeys high, built of rubble, and topped with a slate roof. Each cottage features an entrance and a single window on both floors to the left side. The doors and windows have been replaced with modern versions, and there is a modern porch that does not match the character of the original design at No. 7. Each unit has a plain squat chimney. The terrace is listed for its historical significance as a surviving example of a mid 19th century quarry worker's housing.
