Description
The Former Shippon at Rosemount is a 19th-century building constructed of rubble stone with a slate roof. The front of the building faces south and features three doorways, each with stone segmental heads and mostly replaced boarded doors. Between the central and right-hand doorways, there is a small window. To the right, there is a shallow projection beneath a catslide roof, which has a boarded door set under a wooden lintel.
On the rear wall, at the left end, there is a doorway that has been infilled with blockwork, and above it is a boarded loft opening. To the left of center, there is a pitching hole with a segmental head and a wooden shutter. Further to the right, two tiers of narrow ventilation strips flank another boarded loft opening, although some of these strips are partially infilled.
