Description

The gate piers and attached walls at the entrance to Halkyn Castle are made of square pecked stone with moulded caps. The flanking walls are constructed from coursed pecked stone and feature moulded copings that curve outwards. These walls end in low square piers with moulded caps, although the cap is missing on the left side. Rubble stone boundary walls are connected to these piers.
