Description
The North farmyard range at Bryn-rhos is a 19th-century outbuilding constructed from rubble stone and topped with a slate roof. It features openings adorned with stone voussoirs. The building stands two storeys high, with a loft that has five windows. One window is centrally located above a pair of cart entries on the left, while the other four windows are positioned above four doors that have been altered with concrete lintels. The second and fourth windows are blank, and all windows have stone voussoirs. The three open windows are fitted with boarded doors. The coach entries are separated by a square pier and have cambered heads, also with stone voussoirs. The west end wall includes external steps leading to a loft door, which is framed by stone voussoirs.
Inside, the building is lofted and features a collar-truss roof that retains the structure of the former hipped ends. The stable area contains two large stop-chamfered beams.
