Description
Beulah House is a 19th-century building featuring a roughcast three-window front, a stepped plinth, and a first-floor cill band. The left side of the building is three stories tall with three windows on the second floor, while the right side is two stories with an additional window. There is a pilaster strip at the right end. The roof is slate with stone gable parapets that have quarter round kneelers at both ends. The left section has a tall central chimney stack made of pebbledash with a brick cap, and there is a lower stack on the rear pitch of the right section. The second-floor windows are mostly small-pane casements, while the first floor features a splayed oriel window beside a camber-headed window, both with sash glazing. A similar window is located on the right side. Below the oriel, there is a Victorian shop front with bracketed fascia ends, half-glazed doors, and modern shop signs and windows. To the left, there is another shop window with incised pilasters and a half-glazed door to the right with a very broad flat hood. The right end and rear extension have modern windows. The interior is reported to retain original roof timbers, although it has otherwise been altered.
