Description
The Cader Shop is a 19th-century building that stands three stories tall and features three windows. It is constructed of random rubble masonry and has a gently pitched slate roof with plain close eaves. Originally raised from two and a half stories, it once had dormers on the second floor. A later stone stack is positioned to the right, accompanied by water tabling.
The building has two-light casement windows with four panes, which are set under the eaves of the former second-floor dormers. On the first floor, there are two-light, six-pane casement windows with stone lintels. A brace plate is located to the left.
The ground floor features a 19th-century shopfront on the right side. It has a cornice above a plain fascia, with sunk panelled pilasters flanking a doorway on the left and a two-light shop window on the right, which has a rubble stallriser. To the left of the shopfront, there is a modern window that replaces a former doorway, and a modern three-light shop window is also present to the left.
