Description
Pistyll is a two-storey house built in at least two phases, featuring two parallel ranges with a short central wing and informal additions at the rear. The exterior is rendered and painted cream, accented by raised white-painted corner strips and window surrounds at the front. It has slate roofs with rendered end-chimneys on both parallel ranges.
The main (west) elevation displays a symmetrical arrangement of four windows, a door, and two canted bay windows on the left, all under a single roof. The entrance features a semi-glazed door with an overlight flanked by pilasters. The front bay windows and the upper and right windows are 12-pane sash windows. Many of the front windows, as well as several at the rear and side, have modern external secondary glazing.
At the rear of the parallel ranges, there are three surviving nine-pane unequal-sash windows. The difference in floor level between the two front ranges indicates that the house was constructed in at least two distinct phases.
