Description
Henbant Fawr is a two-storey house featuring a main range and a lower two-storey wing set back to the right. The building has battered walls made of rubble stone, which are painted white, with the wing having larger quoins. The main house includes large stone stacks to the right and left of the center, while the wing has an end stone stack on the right that has been heightened in brick. The main range has a three-window front, with the left unit being a later addition. The original house features 12-pane hornless sash windows, although the lower right window has been replaced. The left gable end has inserted windows and a blocked opening beneath the ridge. The one-window wing has a brick lean-to porch on the left side, with horned sashes in each storey to the right of the porch. The right gable end of the main range is rendered. At the back, the main range has two small 19th-century casements inserted below the wall plate. A butt joint on the right side of the main range indicates where the added unit at the higher end connects.
Inside, the hall retains a post-and-panel partition with one Tudor-headed doorway and a stone fireplace stair.
