The Old Glyn

The Old Glyn is a two-storey house featuring a main range with a wing on the right. It is timber framed in square panels with tension bracing, standing on a brick plinth, and has a slate roof with a central 19th-century brick chimney at the junction of the two ranges. The doorway is located to the right in the gable end of the main range. To the left of the doorway, there are two 2-light casement windows, along with a single casement window in the gable. The left side wall also has similar casements and a timber framed dormer. The wing has a 2-light casement window at the front, with a similar window in the added upper storey. The gable end on the right features similar windows as well. There are roughcast lean-tos on the main range and a catslide roofed outshot on the wing, both of which are from the 19th century.

The main range is designed as a two-unit structure with a lobby entry and a fireplace located in the lateral wall.
