Description
This is a two-unit, lofted stable building, facing east towards the farmhouse, with a single-storey, two-unit shippon attached to the left. The building is constructed of locally sourced stone, dressed with axes, and has slate roofs. The stable section has a door and window on the left side, and a cartshed opening on the right; hatches are positioned above each, and are now glazed. The shippon on the left has two round-arched openings constructed of brick; one has a heck door, while the other is partially walled up. A more recent brick lean-to has been added to the rear of the building. Two hatches from the stable section are visible above the lean-to, and are now glazed.
