Description
Fron-gelyn Farmhouse is a 1½-storey building located at the back of its farmyard, facing north-west. The original structure features two windows and is constructed of stone that is roughly rendered and whitened, topped with a slate roof and a stone chimney on the right. The farmhouse has been extended with a lean-to covered way on the left and a 1½-storey annex on the right, which has much lower eaves. The front door is now situated within the annex. Additionally, there is a single-storey rear wing.
The original front elevation now consists only of windows, which are approximately square and topped with a brick segmental arch. Three out of the four windows have a mullion and two casement lights, while the upper right window is misaligned with the one below it. The upper windows are set in slated dormers that penetrate the eaves. The annex on the right is made from similar materials. The farmhouse also features modern windows and a modern lean-to porch at the front.
The rear wing is single-storey, constructed from brickwork that is also painted white, with a slate roof and a tall brick chimney, and it includes modern windows.
