Description

The building at 7 Regent Street is likely from the later 18th century, although the rear portion has been shortened and the property has undergone subsequent alterations. It is a two-story, three-window structure with a painted roughcast facade. The roof is slate-covered with red brick end chimney stacks, one of which is square. The roof was raised and reslated to incorporate the chimney stacks. A skylight is visible. The windows are 16-pane sashes with cills, and the ground-floor windows have steeply cambered heads. A modern window is set into the first floor above a modern, half-glazed door and a lean-to porch. A segmental arched doorway is located to the left, leading to a boarded door and a separate, gated access path.
