Description
12 Regent Street is a three-storey building featuring fronts made of mottled red and yellow brick, with matching brick chimney stacks, a slate roof, and a plinth. The building has one-window fronts for numbers 12 to 18, while number 10 has a cill band. The lintels above the mostly small pane sash windows are rendered, with a modern tripartite window at number 14 and a modern window on the rendered ground floor of number 10. Between numbers 12 and 14, there is a narrow gated through passage. To the right of this passage is a contemporary shopfront with entrances on either side of a central window, adorned with a dentil cornice, a deep faceted entablature, and large console brackets. The doors are mostly four-panel, with part glazing at number 14 and octagonal panels above the overlight of number 18. The right gable end of the building is splayed back, and there is a cross range at the rear that includes some small pane sash windows.
