Description
16 Regent Street is a three-storey building featuring fronts made of mottled red and yellow brick, with matching brick chimney stacks, a slate roof, and a plinth. The building has one window fronts for numbers 12 to 18, and two window fronts for number 10, which includes a cill band. The lintels above the mostly small pane sash windows are rendered, while number 14 has a modern tripartite window and number 10 features a modern window on its rendered ground floor. Between numbers 12 and 14, there is a narrow gated passage, and to the right, a contemporary shopfront has entrances on either side of a central window. This shopfront is adorned with a dentil cornice, a deep faceted entablature, and large console brackets. The doors are mostly four-panel, with number 14 having a part-glazed door and number 18 featuring octagonal panels above the overlight. The right gable end of the building is splayed back, and there is a cross range at the rear that includes some small pane sash windows.
