Description

Roberts Monument is located in the churchyard of the Church of St Tysilio. It features a square sandstone base with a wide cornice, which supports a short column that rises from a moulded square base, now renewed in concrete. Atop the column is a very large partly fluted urn, with its top elegantly swept up to a moulded cone finial. The monument is inscribed on two faces, commemorating the Reverend Edward Roberts of Dinbran, who died in 1805, with his wife Sarah's name added later.
