Description

The monument to John Roberts is located in the churchyard about 5 metres south of the southeast buttress of the tower of the Church of St Mary. This early 18th-century chest tomb is made of sandstone and features a flat top with a moulded edge, simple lyre ends, sunk moulded panels, and a broad cavetto base. It commemorates John Roberts, who died in 1720. The monument is positioned just east of the path leading to the church entrance and south of the Thomas Morgan monument.
