Description

31 Church Street is an L-shaped, single-storey building constructed from rubble, featuring a plinth. It has a steep slate roof with boarded eaves and a red brick chimney stack at the rear. The building includes modern small-pane sash windows, with the upper window having a swept roof and a cill that nearly touches the lintel of the ground floor. The doorcase is adorned with reeded pilasters and a dentil cornice, and there is a boarded door. The rear of the building is rendered and overlaps with No 29, and there is a studded internal partition wall between the two properties. Inside, the front parlour has stop-chamfered purlins and a cross beam.
