Description
This is a rubble single arch bridge, built in the style characteristic of Thomas Telford. It features voussoirs and a keystone in the arch, as well as a band course above. The coping on the parapet ends in square piers topped with pyramidal caps. The bridge has a slight batter at the base and gently curves outward at both ends. A towpath runs underneath the bridge on the west bank.
