Description

This is a single span rubble bridge designed by Thomas Telford, built between 1808 and 1811. It features a tooled rubble segmental arch ring, a string course, and a coping on the parapet. The northern approach is splayed. The bridge was widened in 1933 by Mears and Carus-Wilson.
