Description
The Benleva Hotel in Drumnadrochit is a house built in 1800, featuring a symmetrical two-storey, three-bay design. It has a lower two-storey wing that projects from the center at the rear, which was added between 1836 and 1837 and is now encased by a modern single-storey extension. The exterior is finished with white harling and has contrasting painted tooled ashlar margins.
The front (south) elevation includes a central door that is framed by a corniced and pilastered doorpiece. There are also a pair of later canted dormers and predominantly four-pane glazing throughout. The building is topped with a slate roof and has corniced ashlar stacks at each end.
