Old Kilmore Burial Ground, Drumnadrochit

The Old Kilmore Burial Ground in Drumnadrochit is a walled burial ground that encloses the ruins of a former parish church, which dates back to 1630. Within the burial enclosure, there is a mural memorial dedicated to Aemelia Grant from 1759.

The site features a small rectangular watch-house made of rubble, which includes an entrance, a flanking door, and an end stack, all topped with a slate roof. The burial ground is surrounded by roughly coped rubble walls on three sides, while the fourth side, which faces the road to the west, is enclosed by a low bullfaced rubble wall topped with cast-iron spearhead railings. There are two pairs of square rubble gate piers from the later 19th century, with the central pair featuring low coped quadrants and similar terminal end piers, all capped with shallow pyramidal tops.
