Description
Graig-wen is a small farmhouse with an adjoining outbuilding range that is positioned at right angles to the house. The structure is built of stone and is whitewashed, featuring a slate roof on the house and a corrugated roof on the outbuilding. The farmhouse has two storeys, with a larger stone chimney on the left and a smaller chimney on the right. It includes small-pane casement windows, with two set at the eaves and two camber-headed windows on the ground floor, the left window being larger. There is a roughly central camber-headed doorway with a boarded door. The left side has a ruinous lean-to, and the rear of the house has a partly outshut.
The roof of the house extends to the right as part of the barn, which has a camber-headed upper-level window and two vents in the gable end. The outbuilding features a window that was formerly a door and another window at a lower level. The gable end of the outbuilding has a window at the upper level, two camber-headed doors, and a small window on the right.
While not accessible, the house appears to have undergone little alteration. It contains two main ground floor rooms, one on each side of the central stair, with longitudinal chamfered beams. The left room features a large fireplace with a cambered beam.
