Description
Pont Nant Clwyd is a bridge featuring a single arch with a span of about 10 meters, constructed from local limestone. It is approximately 4.5 meters wide between the parapets. The arch has a low semicircular shape, with the voussoirs decreasing in depth towards the crown. The masonry is axe dressed and laid in irregular courses, with a slight turn-out at the northeast. The parapets have flat coping.
The parapets have been rebuilt to create a more uniform appearance, resulting in some loss of the original hump-backed profile. Additionally, the arch is now permanently reinforced with steel supporting rings, and there have been minor repairs to the masonry.
