Description
The Archway with Clock Tower at the entrance to the Service Yard is a tall square building dating from the 19th century. It features a pyramid slate roof that rises to a cupola topped with copper, a gilded ball, and a finial. The cupola also houses a clock with Roman numerals. The building is rendered and color washed, with four broad corner pilasters that support a simple hollow cornice. The lower storey is open, featuring single arches on the east and west sides. The upper storey includes a Venetian window on the north side, which has an attached fire escape staircase, small oval windows on the east and west sides, and two sash windows on the south side. The interior has not been inspected.
