Description
Nos 4 and 5 Church Square in Llandyrnog are a pair of 2-storey cottages with rendered walls and slate roofs, located on the north side of a small square that opens to the village road. The cottage on the right has a double front, while the one on the left is single fronted, likely reduced in size when the cocoa rooms were added. They share a chimney stack to the left of centre and have an end chimney stack on the right, both made of brick. Although the doors and windows have been renewed, they are set in earlier openings. The upper windows are positioned against the eaves, while the lower windows feature cambered arch heads. At the rear, there is a single-storey extension with a catslide roof, which includes modern doors and windows.
