Description

No 1 and 2 are two-storey cottages located on the north side facing the village street. They are constructed from random rubble masonry that has been painted white. The original right cottage features a central brick chimney, while there are also end chimneys of brick that have been altered due to the construction of taller buildings nearby.

The upper windows consist of 12 panes and have hornless sashes. The left lower window has been replaced with a modern version, while the other two lower windows are nine-pane sash windows set in recessed exposed frames. The entrance features a six-panel door beneath an open timber porch.
