Description
Old Stable Cottage is a two-storey cottage built from fair-faced rubble stonework. It features a range of three windows facing north towards the village street. The roof is made of slate with a tile ridge, and there is a chimney constructed from hammer-dressed masonry with a drip-course. A lean-to garage is located at the front right of the cottage.
The cottage has two 12-pane windows with hornless sashes, while the other windows are modern. On the left side, there is an early blocked wide opening that has a very rough arch made of large stones. The right-hand window was previously a doorway, and the window above it was a blank panel. Additionally, there is a lean-to shed on the right, which is believed to have been a cart shed or donkey stable.
