Description
The former slaughterhouse, located behind No. 92 (J.H Jones, Butchers), is a long single-storey building constructed of whitened and partly-rendered brick, topped with an old slate roof that is likely original. The building consists of three bays and features three ridge vents along with a small catslide vent on the left side. There are brick chimneys at both ends of the rear. The northwest gable is rendered and includes an entrance with a contemporary part-glazed door, which has a two-pane upper section and is boarded below. On the long southwest side, there are two modern metal doors; the one on the left is sliding, and there is a blocked-up former opening beyond it. To the far right, there is another boarded door, along with signs of reduction and disturbance. Additionally, there is a roofless lean-to at the southeast gable end. The interior was not inspected during the survey.
