Description

The barn at Plas-y-Ward is a tall, rectangular structure built from whitened limestone rubble and topped with a slate roof. On the north side, the farmyard features a large modern opening to the left, with three plain entrances to the right and a square window opening beyond. There are also two 2-light, part-boarded windows located under the eaves to the right. The south side of the barn has three boarded 2-light upper windows, along with loading bays that have pegged surrounds on both gable ends. Inside, the barn has a three-bay layout with original tie-beam and raking strut trusses.
