Description

Pont Telpyn is a single-span road bridge constructed from local limestone rubble. It features a segmental arch made of rough-dressed voussoirs that are recessed below an arch-ring of narrow stones on the down-river side. The carriageway has a gentle hump and is flanked by rubble parapets, which have sandstone copings with some limestone replacements. The parapets are splayed out at the approaches, and there are curved modern revetments that project outwards on the upstream side.
