Description
The gazebo and sea wall at Condover House, formerly known as Villa Marina, is a Grade II listed structure. The sea wall is made of concrete and is faced with random grey-brown rubble, featuring bands of flat grey stone and black faience. It has a slightly convex shape with a turret at each end and tubular railings at garden height.
On the left side, the drum base of the gazebo includes a band of glass brick glazing. The gazebo itself has a circular flat concrete roof supported by six ribbed columns. The columns are full-length on the side facing the house but are half-length on the seaside, where they are supported by a parapet wall.
To the left and below the gazebo, a ramp leads down to beach level, accompanied by a parapet wall and tubular railings, with a window in the return to the left. At beach level, there is a circular gate pier. To the right of this, stairs ascend to the garden, positioned between walls, and to the right of the stairs is a simple grey stone wall.
