Description
The gazebo and garden wall located to the west of Manor House date from the early to mid-18th century. The gazebo is constructed of red brick with stone dressings, set on a rubble stone base. It features an ashlar plinth and a moulded eaves cornice, topped with a stone-tiled pyramid roof that has a stone finial. The corners are accentuated with rusticated angle quoins, and there is a door on the east side framed by an architrave surround. The west side of the gazebo is designed as a canted bay, featuring three windows with bead-moulded flush surrounds; two of these windows are bricked-in, while the central window has an iron grille.
The low garden wall extends southward and has moulded stone coping, which once supported iron railings. The wall ramps up at both the north and south ends, as well as at the center, where there are rusticated ashlar gate piers topped with cornice caps and ball finials, along with a 20th-century iron gate.
