Description
The dovecote and stable, located to the southeast of the Manor House, date from the 16th or 17th century. The structure is built of rubble stone and features a stone-tiled roof, with a coped south gable that includes a saddlestone. The dovecote has a square plan and a recessed north wall that contains 20 tiers of openings. There is a small Tudor arched doorway on the west wall, while the east wall has a modern opening. Inside, the dovecote is lined with nesting shelves. The south end of the building is two stories high, with outside steps on the west side leading to the loft. There is a stable door on the ground floor and a 20th-century window on each floor. A lean-to is attached to the south wall. The dovecote, stable, converted barn (now listed with the Manor House), and the Priest's House were previously listed as a single item.
