Description
The Priest's House, located to the east of the Manor House, is an outbuilding dating from the 16th or 17th century that has been extended to the north. It is constructed of rubble stone and features a stone tiled roof with coped gables and a stack at the north end. The south gable is adorned with a stone sundial. The building has a one-room plan and is a single storey with a loft.
On the west side, there is a Tudor arched doorway with a hoodmould, while the south side has an ovolo-moulded, 2-light window with an iron opening light. The east side features a 20th-century, 3-light mullion window.
Inside, there is a crude shouldered Tudor arched stone fireplace with a mantel above. Attached to the north end is a garage range with a stone tiled roof, which includes one 20th-century, 4-light mullion window, two garages, and three open bays, likely a 20th-century adaptation of an earlier farm building. The converted barn, dovecote, and Priest's House were previously listed as a single item along with the Manor House.
