Description

Twitten Bend is a house dating from the late 17th or early 18th century, built of rubble stone with a stone-tiled roof. It has coped gables and end wall stacks to the west and rear south gables, with a saddlestone to the east gable. The house is one storey with an attic. The front features recessed, chamfered stone-mullion windows with hoodmolds; a five-light window is present on the ground floor, with a four-light window above on the west end wall. A three-light window with a two-light window is set within a dormer gable on the north front. A single-storey, 20th-century rear wing masks the west side and includes a half-dormer above.
