Description
Ty Newydd and No 5 Church Street is a 2-storey, 2-window former single house constructed of rubble-stone walls, featuring a black-painted rendered plinth, architraves, and an upper-storey sill band. The building has a slate roof and end brick stacks. The central doorway is recessed and has a replacement half-glazed door with an overlight. To the right of the doorway is a 16-pane horned sash window, while to the left is a half-glazed panel door leading to No 5, which was formerly a window. The upper storey contains two 12-pane horned sash windows.
On the left gable end (No 5), there is an inserted small-pane sash window to the right, a similar window to the left under a stone lintel, and a 9-pane horned sash window in the upper left under a brick segmental head. A lower rear wing has been added to the building. The rear features a blocked central doorway that has been converted into a window, along with a segmental 9-pane sash window in the upper left. This property is part of a group that includes Ty Newydd and No 5 Church Street.
