Description

Bryn Goleu is a two-storey vernacular farmhouse constructed from colourwashed local stone random rubble with slobbered mortar. It features a Welsh slate gabled roof, which has gable stacks made of stone rubble with stone oversailing courses, the left stack being broader. The symmetrical front elevation, facing southeast, includes two bays of 8/8 horned sash windows that have narrow glazing bars, timber lintels, and slate sills. There is a central gabled porch made of stone rubble with a slate roof, and a blind window is recessed above it. The rear elevation has smaller windows and a central lean-to. The left gable return is slate-hung. The interior was not accessible for inspection at the time of the resurvey.
