Description
Nos 86-94 (even numbers) on Mostyn Street, including a clock attached to the front wall of No 86, are three-storey buildings with an attic and a slate mansard roof. They are finished in stucco and feature two gabled dormers, each with segmental-headed sash windows. The eaves cornice is decorated with dentils and a panelled band, and there are quoins on Nos 86 and 94.
On the second floor, there are two sash windows with shaped stuccoed architraves and keystones. On the first floor, all buildings except No 88 have two three-light canted bay windows, each with pilasters and three-centred heads for the centre lights, while the side lights have rounded heads.
Nos 88 and 90 have been combined into one shop. No 88 features a wide rectangular bay window on the first floor with rounded heads on the lights. The ground floor has a unified design with two plate glass shop windows and a wide central doorway, topped with a canopy.
At the rear, there is a room with a ceiling that has a large elliptical opening, an iron balustrade, thin iron columns, and a glass dome on the upper floor, which is accessible by stairs framed by classicising piers.
