Description
Tandy is a three-storey building dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. It features a red brick front elevation with three bays and sandstone dressings. The building is topped with a modillion cornice and a blocking course. The top floor includes a central tripartite sash window, flanked by 24-pane sash windows that have keystones breaking into the blocking course. On the first floor, there is a central small-pane casement window set within an architrave with an open pediment, alongside a camber-headed small-pane casement window with keystones on either side. The building also has a cast-iron veranda from the late 19th to early 20th century, which consists of two bays supported by very slender columns with bands and capitals, and features cresting between each column.
