Description
Woolworth's is a three-storey building featuring a red-brick front elevation with eight windows arranged in a 4-3-1 grouping. The building has painted dressings and classical detailing, with an asymmetrical front. It includes a parapet and cornice, and three of the windows are grouped under a shallow pediment, flanked by pilasters. There are four windows on the left side and one on the right. Additionally, there is a cast-iron veranda dating from the late 19th century to early 20th century, which has five bays supported by very slender iron columns with capitals, and cresting at the soffit that extends across the width of the bay between each column.
