Description

Nos. 127-137 (odd numbers) Mostyn Street, Llandudno, are a row of three storeys and an attic, with two bays each. The buildings have slate gabled roofs. The exterior is clad in cement render or pebbledash. The windows on the top floor have plain architraves, while those on the first floor are flanked by Ionic pilasters and have entablatures. The ground floor incorporates shops, some with verandas.

The building has two dormers, similar to those on No. 131. The eaves cornice has been altered, and the facade is roughcast. Modern glazing is used throughout except for the second-floor right-hand window, which retains a tripartite sash window. The ground floor features two modern plate glass shop fronts and, at the right-hand end, a rusticated round-headed doorway. A three-bay cast-iron veranda, dating from the late 19th or early 20th century, is present to give access to the shops. This has plan circular columns ornamented with bands and capitals, fretted spandrels and a modern corrugated roof.
