Description

Nos. 127-137 (odd numbers) Mostyn Street in Llandudno form a group of buildings dating to the late 19th or early 20th century. They are three storeys and have an attic space, with two bays each. The roofs are covered in slate and gabled, with two box dormers and a central gabled dormer visible on the roof. The exterior walls are clad in cement render or pebbledash. The top-floor windows have simple architraves, while the first-floor windows are distinguished by Ionic pilasters and entablatures. Shops occupy the ground floor, and some have verandas. The shop fronts are modern with plate glass. A cast-iron veranda, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century, extends across four bays. It features slender columns that are reeded towards the base and have capitals and spandrels. The veranda has cresting on its southern return and downward-pointing cresting extending between the spandrels on the front elevation.
