Description
131 Mostyn Street is a three-storey building with an attic, featuring two bays. It has slate gabled roofs and is clad in either cement render or pebbledash. The top floor windows have plain architraves, while the first floor windows are adorned with Ionic pilasters and entablatures. The ground floor contains shops, some of which have verandas.
The building is stepped uphill and includes two box dormers. The eaves cornice has been altered, and there is modern glazing. On the ground floor, there is a central round-headed doorway flanked by semi-elliptical headed windows with pilasters, an impost band, and a moulded archivolt on the right side. There is also a blocked round-headed doorway with a moulded archivolt and pilasters. Additionally, the ground floor features a wood cantilevered canopy supported by long, fluted trusses and an entablature with modillions.
