Description

Nos. 127-137 (odd numbers) Mostyn Street, Llandudno, are a row of three-storey buildings with attics. The buildings are set on a sloping hillside. They have slate gabled roofs and are clad in cement render or pebbledash. The top floor windows have simple architraves while the first-floor windows are distinguished by Ionic pilasters and entablatures. Shops occupy the ground floor, some with verandas. The upper floors contain tripartite sash windows. The ground floor features a late 19th to early 20th century plate glass shop front. At the right-hand end of the row is a rusticated round-headed doorway, similar to that found at No. 129. A three-bay cast-iron veranda, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century, features slender fluted columns with spandrels and a modern corrugated roof. The roof also has two box dormers with modern glazing.
