Description

Ivy Cottage is a mid-terrace, two-storey vernacular cottage that is part of a row of three cottages. The building features colourwashed roughcast rendered facades and a slate gabled roof topped with clayware ridge tiles and brick chimney stacks. The front elevation faces north and has a regular arrangement of windows, including 8/12 and 12/12 cast iron windows with narrow glazing bars and centre-pivoted top lights, as well as 6/6 timber sash windows. The front entrance is highlighted by a matching bracketed timber canopy with a slate roof and gable trusses. The interior was not accessible for inspection during the last survey.
