Description
Dinorben Lodge is a Grade II listed building constructed from polygonal limestone with oolite dressings and slate roofs. This single-storey structure features a 'Z'-plan layout, which includes a forward gabled wing on the left (east) that faces the drive. The wing has a canted and hipped bay window and an adjoining gabled porch. The entrance consists of a boarded and nailed door set in a chamfered reveal, topped with a label and stepping over a recessed panel that displays a carved cursive monogram of HRH on a shield. The building also features mullioned and transomed timber windows, likely from the early 20th century. Notable details include carved openwork bargeboards with terminal spikes. Additionally, the left bay has a part-external gable stack that carries a stone panel with the date, and there is a rear gabled service wing.
